Synopsis

In Defcon 5, aliens attack the MRP-6F colony and turn a peaceful evening of engineering into a battle for survival. In the distant future, conflicts are at an all-time low and obsolete defense bases are being evacuated and replaced with automated software. You play as a Cyberneer engineer sent to update one of these bases. Just after downloading the automation code, the base is suddenly invaded by unknown attackers from the air and ground. You must rely on your intelligence and defense software to repel them. The game takes place in first person inside the complex. Trams connect the maze-like living spaces to a handful of inhabited turrets outside. You have to shuttle between taking down waves of fighters in turrets and scouring levels for maps during downtime.
