Synopsis

Defender 64 is a clone of the arcade shooter Defender. You must fly over the surface of a hostile planet, viewed from the side with horizontal scrolling that adapts to the movements of your Defender-class spaceship. The planet we fly over orbits an alien sun and ten pioneers have settled there to form a colony. Problem: a neighboring planet, hostile to human presence, has decided to expel them by sending them into space. You must protect the humans by destroying the landers before they can collect them. If they succeed, you can still destroy a lander and catch the falling human, but be careful not to shoot him!
