Synopsis

Desert Fox is a strategy and action game set during World War II. The player embodies the Lone Wolf tank commander, responsible for thwarting Rommel's plans in North Africa. The strategic part of the game takes place on an aerial map displaying the positions of Lone Wolf and Rommel. The main objective is to save Allied depots attacked by Rommel's troops; The major challenge is to save them all in time. Lone Wolf can move around the map and perform one airstrike per game to save time and save a deposit. He can also obtain information on the enemy through his radio, which allows him to spot obstacles.

When Lone Wolf or Rommel encounters an obstacle, one of five action sequences is triggered: tank duels, turret battles against enemy fighters, crossing a minefield, protecting a convoy and escaping an ambush.
