Synopsis

Desert War is a vertical shoot'em up developed by NMK and published by Jaleco in 1995.
At the controls of a helicopter, the player must rescue prisoners and destroy tactical objectives in a fictional Gulf conflict.
The gameplay is distinguished by the possibility of slowing down or speeding up the scrolling, a fuel gauge which empties continuously, and the need to land to collect or drop off prisoners of war, which also allows you to regain fuel.
Some prisoners offer special bonuses (weapons, armor, fuel).
The game features several campaigns of increasing difficulty and a two-player cooperative mode.
