Synopsis

Dig 'em is a 1-player Dig Dug clone for Apple II.

The player must wage his war in the earth and defeat the monsters that lie underground. This is prohibited by two distinct types of monsters, which will continually pursue the player. The player carries an air pump which can be used to inflate monsters until they explode. Additionally, rocks are scattered across the land and can be used to crush monsters. If the monsters do not find the player for several seconds, they will eventually turn into ghosts, capable of roaming the land. They are invincible and cannot be killed. The player advances by killing all the monsters in the level. The player has a total of 4 lives, and the game is over when all are lost.
