Synopsis

The protagonists of the game are members of the "D.S.G. (Digital Security Guard)". Based on Digital Monster X-Evolution, it is immediately revealed that a computer virus known as "X-virus" is spreading rapidly and infecting many Digimon. The "Yamato Server" is gone and a new server called "The Doom Server" has taken its place. They are sent to the first area of ​​the game, Death Valley, in search of leader Leomon. Once this research is completed, the player discovers that the Doom server might actually be the Yamato server.

The player is then sent to destroy the "Doom Dome". This is where the first real boss, Apocalymon, appears. The player is then sent to the Dry Land to prevent the spread of the X-Virus and must defeat MaloMyotismon.
