Synopsis

Dinosaur Discovery is an educational game developed for schools. Teachers use the game in conjunction with educational materials to provide an interleaved lesson based on English, math, science, drama and art. Depending on the situations encountered in the game, students can complete classroom tasks based on the game's backstory. Players begin the game in a hangar, where they must decide which tools to take with them for use in the game environment, and which to leave behind (although they can return to the hangar at any time and swap them). As they explore the world, they will encounter situations based on basic English (such as puzzles), reading by compass, telling the time, and learning to read to the scale of a map. Clues are given to them through the game's museum and an old hermit, who tells them about an old explorer who was trying to hatch dinosaurs on a distant and isolated island.
