Synopsis

It's the future and the long-missing space station Discovery has been found. Unfortunately, its defense systems are activated and must be deactivated before the station can be used again. Unsurprisingly, this mission is up to the player.

Discovery is a vertical scrolling shooter where the player flies around the space station shooting defense robots while avoiding them. Being hit results in energy loss, and zero energy means death. The station has twelve hatches, each hiding a mini-game. It must be accessed to assemble the printed circuit necessary to deactivate the defenses. Each successful mini-game restores the player's energy.

Mini-games are mostly variations of arcade classics or traditional games, such as Breakout, Centipede, a sliding puzzle, Amidar or Solitaire. Most of these games rely on quick reflexes or luck.
