Disney's 102 Dalmatians - Activity Center
Synopsis
Disney Activity Center: Disney’s “102 Dalmatians” is a game for children ages 4 and up, inspired by the 2000 film “102 Dalmatians.” The action takes place in London and Paris, and players can complete various activities selected from a city map. Many locations on the map can be clicked to get information about famous tourist attractions and historic buildings.
In London, there’s the “Chow Time” mini-game, an arcade-style game where you have to feed hungry puppies. You must move a character to the top of the screen and slide food along one of the four long vertical tables whenever a puppy appears. The food must reach the puppy before it reaches the kitchen; otherwise, you lose a life. The game tracks high scores. At the art gallery, you can create a personalized image using backgrounds, stickers, colors, characters, and illustrations. You can also adopt a puppy and play with it—for example, by feeding it or taking it to the park to meet other dogs and play fetch. There are four international parks to visit, including one in Tokyo.
In Paris, a mini-investigation game involves locating missing puppies. It can be played by one or two players. To do this, you must gather clues from the Parisian dog gang “Twilight Bark.” The answers they provide are recorded in a notebook, and the player must compare them to the description of the missing puppies to identify the right one. Factors to consider include breed and origin, color, size, as well as coat and ear type. At Le Pelt’s bakery, you can play a platformer as Oddball. He must rescue all the puppies before Cruella, Alonzo, or Le Pelt get their hands on them. You can slow down the villains by throwing frosting, butter, and jam at them—items collected as power-ups.
