Synopsis

A toxic spill on a cargo ship has contaminated its stockpile, and a player-controlled droid must remedy the situation. Initially, the cargo is toxic upon contact with the droid, but a quick shot with your decontamination gun solves the problem. Once they are safe, they can be fired across the level using your gun, eventually reaching the area where your spaceship is parked. Charge it fully to advance to the next level, in a way reminiscent of Jetpac.

Don't Panic takes place over a succession of multi-level side loops, each with elevator squares that your droid can use to move up or down a level. Your droid can only pass through the ship at the bottom of the screen. Enemies are indestructible; Mutant Toads can be shot down but alien defenses cannot, so prepare to move up and down to dodge them.
