Synopsis

Budokai is based on the animated television series Dragonball Z. The story begins after Goku defeats Piccolo in the World Martial Arts Tournament and is visiting Master Roshi, when suddenly his brother Raditz appears and kidnaps his son, Gohan. After saving him, he is sent to the Other World to train with King Kai in preparation for the arrival, a year later, of two even more powerful Saiyans. This eventful story takes the player from the Saiyans saga to that of the Cell Games.

The game also offers several options: a world tournament mode where the player can purchase new moves and a training mode where they can hone their skills before moving on to story mode. The player can also summon Shenron after collecting all 7 Dragonballs.
