Synopsis

It is a game released on April 30, 2017 that sees players compete in a one-on-one tournament.
Set in an alternate timeline/universe, this game focuses on the perpetual battle of enemies trying to take over the earth and obtain the crystal balls (Dragon balls in English). In order to put an end to the constant threats to the earth a tournament is organized, the losers no longer being able to attack the earth or claim the crystal balls.
DBZ Tournament has a unique system where players can move up and down the stage, some special moves generate cut scenes with animations directly from DBZ anime. Combat is inspired by the series and requires players to dodge and maneuver around the screen while strategically charging their Ki energy and planning their attacks. Players are able to charge up their Ki energy and transform mid-battle and unleash projectiles and special moves. Some stages contain destructible environments with some items containing health items for recovery.
