Trama

Dragon City is a monster-raising game originally dedicated to a Facebook app game.

The player takes on the role of a dragon breeder. The monsters in this game consist entirely of dragons, which are hatched from eggs or bred between two different types of dragons. Dragons produce gold in their habitats, which will allow the player to buy adjacent land, build more habitats to acquire more dragons, buy food and various other activities, all with the sole purpose of helping the dragons under the player's care grow and become stronger. Accelerating activities or buying special items/dragons requires gems, which can be purchased with real money. Dragons can also optionally be sent for player versus player combat (PvP).

Shaded Dragons

There are 12 different dragon elements, all of which may require specific habitats for them to live in. For example, a flame dragon will need a flame habitat before an egg or dragon is purchased. At the beginning, the player acquires dragons by purchasing an egg and hatching it in the hatchery. Depending on the type of egg, hatching will require a specified incubation period. The shaded dragon can then be placed in a specified habitat, where the dragon will regularly produce gold for the player. Dragons grow when given a specific amount of food. The larger the dragon, the more gold it produces for the player.

Breeding Dragons

When the player owns two types of dragons, preferably of two different elements, the player can choose to send these two dragons to the breeding mountain to mate. Dragons of two different elements will produce a new type of dragon. Mating will take some time. This new dragon can be sent to live in its parents' habitat. For example, a flame dragon and a earth dragon will produce a volcano dragon. This volcano dragon can live in a flame or terra habitat.
