Dragon Warrior II
Synopsis
Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line (Dragon Quest II: Akury No Kamigami in Japan and Dragon Warrior II in the US) is a NES role-playing game. Second part of the famous Dragon Quest saga, this game takes place again in the country of Alefgard, at the helm of a descendant of the brave Erdrick.
After defeating Dragonlord, our hero returns to King Lorik's castle. He brought the Magic Ball of Light back to the latter. In exchange for his services, Lorik offers Roto's descendants the throne of Alefgard. However, the latter refuses the king's offer because he wants to create his own kingdom. He sets sail with Princess Gwaelin to find a country. Gwaelin and his hero take possession of the land of Torland where they have three children. The eldest prince inherits the land of Midenhall, the youngest, the land of Cannock, and the princess the kingdom of Moonbrooke. The countries prospered for 100 years... But one day, Hargon a Wizard decides to conquer the world... He first attacks Moonbrooke Castle. Moonbrooke's defense potential doesn't stand a chance against Hargon's power. A soldier manages to escape from the castle. Wounded, he managed to travel to the neighboring kingdom of Midenhall. After hearing the soldier, the king of Midenhall, descendant of Roto, sends his son to fight Hargon but not without advising him to first find the other descendants of Roto.
