Synopsis

Dragon Quest (or Dragon Warrior in the US) on NES is the first episode of the famous role-playing game series by Yuji Horii and Akira Toriyama. It tells the adventures of the Roto lineage, Ball of Light and Dragon. Monsters and other mystical beings lived under the benevolent control of the Ball of Light. Peace and well-being seemed to emanate from this magical object and thanks to it, the people of Alefgard were able to enjoy life. But in the kingdom of Alefgard, one man was not satisfied. This loner had lived in mountainous caves far from civilization. One day, while exploring an underground dungeon, he came across a dragon sleeping peacefully. Through luck or magic, this man was able to control the dragon and, subsequently, other creatures. Thanks to this feat, the man was nicknamed "DragonLord". To prove his power, Dragonlord attacked Tantegel Castle and stole the Ball of Light, ruining the dreams of the people of Alefgard. A young warrior, descendant of Roto, promised Lorik, the king of Alefgard to find the Ball. After a good meal, he leaves for his greatest quest.
