Synopsis

In Dragonriders of Pern, you play as a Weyrleader negotiating alliances and fighting the Deadly Thread that threatens the world. During diplomatic negotiations, you persuade Lords or Master Craftsmen, while events like the hatching of dragons strengthen your influence. If diplomacy fails, dueling is an option – risky, but sometimes necessary. During the real-time combat phase, you ride your dragon to consume the Thread in the sky before it reaches the ground. Only clever strategy, strong alliances and quick decisions will allow you to achieve victory or perish.
