Synopsis

Dragons of Hong Kong is an early choose-your-own-adventure style interactive fiction game. Presented in black & white and entirely text-based, players are given branching story choices, with many wrong decisions leading to death. The game uses a context-sensitive parser that attempts to understand the player's intent by identifying key words and phrases in responses.
You are contacted by Nobel Prize-winning economist Dr. Goodman, who reveals that a secret religious organization called the Gregarines, led by Akbar D'Eville in Hong Kong, is deliberately causing worldwide inflation. Their goal is to destroy the value of global currencies so they can replace them with their own currency, the Liroon, and seize power. After Goodman is murdered with a jade dagger and you are framed for the crime, you must travel to Hong Kong, prove your innocence, and stop the Gregarines' sinister plot.
