Description
This BIOS represents the general firmware developed by DTK Computer, Taiwanese manufacturer of motherboards, in collaboration with the research institute ERSO (Electronics Research and Service Organization). It equipped many PC-XT clones produced during the 80s, a cheap alternative to the official IBM or Phoenix BIOS. Several revisions exist (versions 2.26 to 2.42), fixing bugs and adding compatibility with new devices. In MAME, this BIOS serves as the basis for the emulation of many PC-XT-compatible computers from the 80s.
