Synopsis

The Beagle Boys attempt another raid on Scrooge's cash chest, with Buggy, Burger and Bouncer Beagle capturing Huey, Dewey and Louie. After Scrooge saves them, he finds Big Time Beagle in his office with a painting in his hands. With Duckworth's help, Big Time is defeated and retreats. The painting reveals the location of five treasures and Scrooge wastes no time in searching for them. Scrooge and Launchpad visit the Amazon to find the Inca king's scepter. Using eight gold coins, they discover the hidden temple of Manco Capquack, but the scepter is lost and the temple is destroyed by its guardian statue. The leader of the natives then approaches Scrooge and Launchpad and thanks them for giving them back their city, and in return gives Scrooge the recovered scepter, which was only the king's backscratcher. Scrooge, the nephews and Webby visit the castle of Drake Von Vladstone, also known as Dracula Duck, who was the heir to the Lost Kingdom Coin. The boys fall through a trapdoor and scatter throughout the Transylvania mansion, but Scrooge saves them from the Beagle Boys, disguised as ghosts. Each of the beagle boys also carried a torn sheet of paper containing part of a riddle. They discover a mirror where Scrooge solves the riddle, and Magica De Spell is revealed, which is also after the play. Scrooge and Magica then confront each other, and the witch is defeated and walks away empty-handed. Scrooge and his nephews travel to the African mines to find the giant diamond of the Inner Earth, but they discover that the workers are frightened by voices and earthquakes, claiming that the mine is haunted. Deep underground, Scrooge discovers that the Terra-Firmians and their games are the cause, and after intervening, he is attacked by their king. Defeated, the king makes a deal with Scrooge to stop the games in exchange for continued mining operations, as this will rid them of the diamonds they consider "trash". He gives Scrooge the giant diamond from Inner Earth to start.
