Synopsis

DUNGEON is a new dungeon crawl adventure. The pretext is simple: the princess has been kidnapped and you must free her by defeating the demon who reigns over the forces of darkness. The game features turn-based combat familiar to veterans of the role, where each monster encounter triggers a battle. You can flee, fight or use magic. To progress, you must find the key to the next level, obtained by defeating an opponent. Although designed for the Atari 2600, the title is in no way simplified: you gain levels by eliminating monsters and discover chests containing weapons and armor. Like any good dungeon, it conceals secret passages behind certain walls, as well as significant places such as the Cave of the Dead or the Lake of Fire. A wide variety of animated creatures stand in your way to the princess at the bottom of the dungeon. Once found, you will have to kill the demon who kidnapped her.
