Synopsis

The plot of E.V.O.: Search for Eden follows the same patterns as modern theories of evolution. The player first takes on the role of a prehistoric marine organism and fights to earn evolution points with which he can upgrade his fish's body parts and strengthen its attack and defense capabilities. Gameplay is not entirely linear, meaning that certain path and level choices will impact the player's success.

The game consists of a series of levels during which the marine organism gradually evolves into an amphibian, then into a land creature. The physical changes are quite faithful to scientific reality, which gives the game a semi-educational dimension.
