Synopsis

In Eagles, two spaceships piloted by robots must repel an alien invasion. To do this, they travel through 24 side-scrolling levels and eliminate everything in their path. Small collectible droids can be dropped off at special drop points along the route. Five droids allow players to obtain a bomb capable of wiping out all enemies on screen except fireballs. In addition to classic enemy formations, the game also offers various isolated, particularly resistant opponents. The game screen is always divided horizontally in two, and the second ship is controlled either by a second player or by the AI. In two-player mode, two options are available: cooperation or direct confrontation. This choice only determines whether the life bar and score are shared or separate. Bonus levels are available between the main levels.
