Synopsis

Election is an arcade adventure game where you try to become Prime Minister during the 1987 British elections. You can choose from five candidates inspired by real-life figures of the time: Matcher (Conservative), Ninnock (Labour), Paul (Idealist), Owing (Alliance) and Pig-Iron (Alliance). Once your candidate has been chosen, set out to explore the world, seen from the sky and on screen, and try to obtain at least 101 votes to win the required majority and become Prime Minister.

You travel through the area and try to convince the inhabitants, displayed on the different screens, to vote for you by talking to them, collecting manifestos or various symbols.
