Synopsis

Somewhere in the galaxy there is a planet named Sera. It is protected by a wall of energy that its inhabitants call "Force". The Force is supported by magical crystals called "seeds". When demons begin to invade the planet, the nameless hero's task is to gather the seeds, which are scattered throughout the surface of Sera, in order to restore the planet's Strength and save it from the demonic invasion.
All exploration in Emerald Densetsu is done from a side-scrolling perspective, but it's not an action game;: it's a turn-based single-player RPG. Enemies appear randomly, their image superimposed on the exploration screen. Combat is done by selecting menu commands.
