Synopsis

Emerald Mine II is a variant of Boulder Dash and features no gameplay changes from its predecessor, except for the new level editor. The player's goal is to collect diamonds surrounded by dirt. When you walk on a dirt block, it is cleared and a stone above falls—resulting in dire consequences if the player or a monster is hit by it. Other items include dynamite to destroy rocks and keys for certain doors.

The need to plan ahead and know the steps required to reach the diamonds gives the game a puzzle-solving character. In addition to the hundred levels in solo mode, there are extra levels for two players.
