Synopsis

Emerald Mine II is a variant of Boulder Dash and offers no gameplay changes compared to its predecessor, apart from a new level editor. The player's goal is to collect diamonds surrounded by dirt. When you walk on an area of ​​land, it is cleared and a stone comes loose, which can cause significant damage to the player or to a monster hit. Other items include dynamite to clear rocks and keys to open certain doors. The need to anticipate and find the necessary steps to reach the diamonds gives the game a puzzle aspect. In addition to the hundred or so single-player levels, additional levels are available for two players.
