Synopsis

Encounter! is a first-person shoot 'em up game and has some similarities to BATTLEZONE.

You are on a hostile planet and you travel in an anti-gravity vehicle in which you can move by flying over the plain. You see your surroundings through the cockpit and you have a radar that shows you enemies in the area. The playing area is full of indestructible columns that can protect you but also make your shots ricochet. Finally, UFOs appear to try to destroy you, some being more aggressive than others. There are also self-guided missiles that will seek to hit you but which you can shoot down in mid-flight.

After a certain number of enemies defeated, an interstellar door opens allowing you to cross it and access a new area, but be careful because the journey in hyperspace is dangerous with obstacles to avoid for 30 seconds.
