Synopsis

The player controls Erik the Viking, whose mission is to rescue his family, kidnapped by the villainous Dogfighters. In the first part of the game, Erik is on the continent. He prepares for his voyage, gathers his weapons, and assembles a crew consisting of Blind Thorkhild, Sven the Strong, and Ragnar Forkbeard.

Most of the game takes place at sea, with Erik commanding his ship, the Golden Dragon, through the northern seas. He visits several different islands to collect necessary items and meet key characters required to save his family and win the game. These include an enchantress in a hidden cave within a forest, the wizard Al Kwasarmi on a stone dock, and the enchantress's daughter, Freya. The enchantress's office contains a list of items Erik needs to complete the game, and Al Kwasarmi provides the ribbon Erik requires to save his family. A dragon may also interfere with Erik's quest!
