European Games
Synopsis
European Games take the classic “Games” formula, relying mainly on the joystick with some precision elements. Spread across five or six disciplines, depending on the platform, the speed events require rapid movements of the joystick from left to right or a precise press of the fire button. The hammer throw involves releasing the bar when power is at its maximum, with added rotation control on Commodore. Swimming requires both joystick movements and air management: rising to the surface slows down swimming. The long jump is another event where the joystick is predominant, requiring precise timing for the impulse and the ability to choose the angle of jump. Rowing works similarly to swimming, but without an air supply. Weightlifting involves maintaining a high load and lifting the load before the timer runs out.
