Synopsis

Every Second Counts is a computer game inspired by the popular British show from the 1980s. This quiz is played by three couples or six individual players, the latter paired with a computer partner. Contestants compete to earn seconds, not points. The player with the most seconds advances to the final, where this time constitutes the limit for responding. The game includes six blocks of questions, allowing six games to be played before repeating certain categories.
The team with the most seconds chooses one of the two categories offered and answers six questions in turn within the time limit. If all are correct, a second set of seven questions is added, still in the remaining time. At the end, the team's score is displayed on the Every Second Counts trophy.
