Synopsis

Exerion is a vertical shooter. The main features of the game are parallax scrolling in the background and the feeling of inertia in the ship's movements. The ship is equipped with two types of weapons. You can fire the double-shot cannon which can only fire one shot at a time but has an unlimited reserve. The single-shot cannon can fire a rapid stream of shots by holding the button but is limited in ammo. Each weapon is best used in different situations, in order to defeat enemies that come down from the upper part of the screen.
Due to the ship's inertia, you must anticipate the ship's momentum. This behavior makes Exerion a different game from its peers released around the same time.
