Synopsis

When the Personal Computer Museum first discovered Extra Terrestrials, the discovery itself was enough to send shock waves through the Atari community. Not only did a previously unknown (but commercially available) title surface, but it was also recognized as the only Atari 2600 game developed in Canada. The group wanted to capitalize on the video game market which was booming at the time. They had hoped to release the game for the 1983 Christmas season, but scheduling delays prevented this and the game missed the Christmas period. After the game was finished in early 1984, Peter recalls going door to door to retailers selling copies of the game. They had no distributor and the video game market had already collapsed.
