F1 Challenge '99-'02 covers four full championship seasons and provides detailed information on the teams, cars, and drivers for each season.

Over the course of the four racing seasons, F1 Challenge '99-'02 features 14 different teams, 44 different cars, and 17 of the world’s most famous race tracks, some of which have slightly different layouts depending on the year. The level of detail in the graphics seems unmatched, with each track featuring its own real-world structures, bumps on the track, pit crews captured via motion capture, animated grid girls, as well as planes and helicopters in the sky.
