Synopsis

Face Off is an action-oriented ice hockey game played from a top-down perspective. The player directly controls one of the five players on the field. The action button triggers either a shot (when controlling the puck) or a foul (when controlling the opposing team). When the action moves close to the player's own goal, the player also controls the goalie's dive. In addition to a single game, the player can also participate in a cup tournament or a league, both with a total of eight teams. Other options that can be changed are the team colors, the team names, the length of a period (5, 10 or 20 minutes), the number of players (one or two) and one of four difficulty levels when playing against the AI.
