Synopsis
The game is based on one of the traditional board games, "Shōgi" (literally "game of generals"), famous in Japan, played turn-based and somewhat resembling Western chess. One of the differences between the two board games is that where chess offers a board of 8 squares by 8, with 16 pawns per player, "Shōgi" has a board of 9 by 9, with 20 pawns for each player.
The goal is to move up the rankings by defeating your opponents one by one. In "Practice" mode, you can familiarize yourself with the rules and practice.
