Synopsis

Fantasia Diamond is a traditional text-based adventure with static graphics, in which the eponymous diamond—a family heirloom—has been stolen and must be recovered from a sinister fortress on the banks of a river. Along the way, you must rescue Boris the Masterspy, who was imprisoned during a previous attempt to recover the diamond. On your journey, you’ll encounter elves, goblins, gnomes, and a decidedly hostile lumberjack. To gain strength, you must eat and drink, and your strength determines how many items you can carry. There is a real-time element to the game where each character performs an action approximately every 15 seconds, regardless of your actions. The interface is text-based with split-screen graphics. The text parser can currently handle relatively complex sentences.
