Synopsis

Far Cry 6 takes place on the fictional Caribbean island of Yara, inspired by Cuba, which is described as "the largest map in the series" that consists of "a tropical paradise frozen in time." It is led by Anton Castillo, a dictator with full control of the island, who invites his son Diego, uncertain of his own future, to follow in his footsteps. Anton's character is described as a leader "trying to make the people understand that they need a strong leader", but must face the revolts of the less than understanding population. He “tries to give his son the opportunity to embrace the ideas that will allow him to rule the island”4,6.

The player takes on the role of Dani Rojas (male or female), a soldier fighting for freedom who tries to bring the nation back to glory and resist against the powers that be, mainly by carrying out guerrilla actions3,4,7.
