Synopsis

Despite the name, the gameplay is more similar to that of Street Fighter II, with the lack of the original game's power bar, as well as a complete lack of AI-only characters. This game has a total of 5 or 6 different characters, each with a recolor depending on the version of the pirate played. Namely, the characters included in this game are: Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard, Mai Shiranui, Kim Kaphwan, Cheng Sinzan and Lawrence Blood, the latter not appearing on some versions. Strangely, Lawrence and his recolor are called Yeain in this game, a name that would be carried over in World Heroes 2, directed by Cony a year later. He, Andy and Mai would appear again in this game.
