Synopsis

Fengshen Yingjiezhuan or "The Heroic Legend of God-Sealing" is a strategy role-playing game set during the Shang dynasty. The story follows the corrupt Emperor Zhou, who, after attempting to capture the goddess Nü Wa, is tricked into marrying a mortal woman possessed by a fox spirit. As evil spreads throughout the empire, legendary heroes must rise to overthrow the corrupted ruler and restore order.

In this strategy RPG, you begin by controlling the hero Lin Yun and gradually reunite with 8 others to advance the story through battles and cutscenes. Movement occurs on a world map or within top-down battles, where you can physically attack, defend or cast magic against enemies within range. Experience points are awarded for each attack, allowing characters to level up even during combat.
