Synopsis

A sequel to the original Fighter's History game.

The game offers several modes. The main story mode features Mizoguchi pursuing a mysterious masked figure after he denigrates Osaka takoyaki, which Mizoguchi fiercely defends. Mizoguchi then travels across Japan in pursuit, confronting the other characters for various trumped-up reasons. There is also a "CPU Battle" mode in which the player progresses through a more traditional "Arcade" mode with the character of their choice. There is also the standard Versus mode for up to two players.

In addition, the game offers a Survival mode (survive as long as possible against an infinite succession of opponents), a Tag mode (each of the fighters can place themselves at the edge of the screen to switch to a second character) and a Training mode.
