Synopsis

Inaugural game in Square's main series: Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy begins by asking the player to choose a class and a name for the four characters. These have a surprising feature for the series: they have no personal story. Nothing is known about them and they do not interact individually. All we know is that they each have a crystal in their hand, and call themselves the Warriors of Light. There are six classes, Warrior, Rogue, Monk, White Mage, Black Mage and Red Mage, which the player can choose from for a total of 54 different team combinations allowing for varied or completely different play styles.
