Synopsis

As in the original title, up to eight players can participate simultaneously if four two-seat terminals are connected. The game features four circuits located in Japan, Italy, Monaco and the United States, as well as cars from the Williams, McLaren, March and Lotus teams. In single-player mode, the player accumulates points until the timer expires or after completing four laps of the chosen circuit. In multiplayer mode, up to eight competitors can compete at once, helping to improve lap times, with simple green computer-controlled cars appearing less often. The American circuit is the easiest and recommended for beginners. Once this has been mastered, the player can try it in Monaco then in Italy. The Japanese track, a reproduction of the Suzuka circuit from the original game, remains the most difficult and is only recommended for experienced players.
