Synopsis

Despite its stereotypical name (Final Thunder Star Solar Power Hyper Strike IV?) Final StarForce is a very good futuristic vertical shooter.
The graphics are excellent, very fine and varied, sometimes a little confusing in certain passages overloaded with enemies. The ship has 3 weapons (classic scattered shot, concentrated blue shot and laser beam) as well as bonuses (missiles, boomerangs, etc.) and bombs. Very original point: the power of the weapon does not increase by collecting bonuses, but by remaining alive, over time. Another particularity, the music changes depending on the weapon used, which is useless but worth emphasizing =)
The difficulty is curiously distributed, some levels are very easy, others are real carnage and will cost you 2-3 credits per minute. Oddly enough, the hardest levels, among the 10 in the game, are not the last, level 9 for example is a real walk... The gameplay is very good, the ship (perhaps) a bit too slow.
To nitpick we could make a few criticisms, 3 weapons for example is a little light, and some bosses are a little disappointing (like the last one, rather not great), the music is quite repetitive, but overall it's a very good production.
A very good game, not even a mega one, to try!
