Synopsis

In Fire!, the player pilots an advanced helicopter and attempts to solve some of humanity's problems by shooting them. The game consists of five thematically unrelated levels, each of which has two stages. For example, in one mission the player must destroy drug plants in South America and in another he must deal with terrorists at sea.

Gameplay-wise, it's a traditional side-scrolling shooter: the player moves from left to right shooting anything that moves. Shields and fuel are limited and if any of them reach zero, the one and only life is lost. However, they can be recharged using bonuses left by killed enemies. The standard gun can be aimed up or down, but by picking up the right power-ups the weapon system can be upgraded.
