Synopsis

A young girl is trapped on the top floor of 16 burning skyscrapers. As a firefighter, your mission is to climb these skyscrapers and put out the flames that are coming through the building's windows, threatening every floor. You will also have to rescue people trapped inside. Your mission is complicated by falling objects and fireballs, and even flames throw sparks in any direction and at any time.

You can use the water jet on the flames to distinguish them. While doing so, you will sometimes discover silver and other special items, including: the three-way water jet, which allows you to extinguish flames to the north, east, and west of you; invincibility, which makes you invincible for a few seconds; and speed, which allows you to go up several floors.

At the start of the game, you have four lives. You will lose one of these lives by coming into contact with fire and falling objects, running out of time before saving the girl, or getting the speed bonus when you are near the top of the building.
