Synopsis

First Over Germany is a simulation of a B-17 bomber detachment during World War II. The simulation covers the real events surrounding the formation of the 306th Bomber Group. The training, the transition to Thurleigh, England, and twenty-five missions that a pilot could have flown at the time.

You will start as a second lieutenant with only a few hours of flight experience. You'll need to choose your crew, then learn to pilot during a series of training missions. You will also learn how to take off with your plane and form a group. After learning the basics, you will practice bombing. By achieving the highest efficiency ratings, you will achieve the highest scores during the game. The first missions begin in the United States. Once the training missions are completed, you will fly to England to participate in the war effort.
