Synopsis

FlapPing is a unique homebrew born from an idea launched on rec.games.video.classic: uniting the spirit of Pong and Joust. Basically, it's a Pong-style duel, but enriched with a "Flap" button which allows each player to flap their wings to prevent the ball from getting past their defense. Victory goes to the first to reach ten points, or three in “poorlords” mode. The game offers two main variations: classic mode, faithful to Pong, and “poorlords”, where everyone protects a wall in the style of Warlords. You can face another player or challenge the Atari 2600's AI. Joust's famous pterodactyl sometimes appears, adding an unpredictable touch.
