Synopsis

Flash Boy is a unique hybrid of shoot'em up and beat'em up. The player controls the main character, a flying robot child reminiscent of Astro Boy, in a vertically scrolling stage. Instead of shooting enemies, the Flash Boy attacks by hitting enemies at close range, with the player also having to maneuver around the terrain. The player mainly moves upwards but can also turn around, which also reverses the screen scrolling. The game also features a health bar, allowing the player to take several hits before dying.
