Synopsis

In Flash Hiders, there are three different game modes: a story mode, an "advanced mode", and a versus mode. While the story mode limits the player to using the protagonist Bang Vipot, the "advanced mode" allows the player to use their favorite character. Although the game requires the Super System Card to run, it is recommended to install Arcade Card Pro/Duo in the PC engine for the game to run at the desired speed. If the game is played with a two-button controller, lightly pressing the fist or kick button results in a weak attack while holding the button performs a stronger attack. If played with a six-button controller, four basic attacks ranging from weak punch to strong kick are assigned to the first four buttons. Each fighter has three other gauges besides their health; the strength of attacks, the player's speed, and the tenacity of defense. Flash Hiders had a sequel in 1995 titled Battle Tycoon: Flash Hiders SFX, which was also released exclusively in Japan, but was developed for the Super Famicom.
