Synopsis

At the start of a game, the player controlling the ball chooses the type of play (pass, volley or run) and the second player tries to predict which one he has chosen. If the defensive player predicts correctly, the attacker will suffer a penalty on the distance gained and whether the shot is successful. After a successful shot, players see the position at which the ball goes off-screen (in the case of a punt or passing play) and the offense draws a card. Most maps feature a mini-map of the playing field and designate the total distance gained based on where the ball left the screen.
